Something In The Way It Sounds

A sweet memory lasts forever

A sweet in contrast lasts never

Between the lines, it both lasts

Between the last, one outlasts

In the past, something amiss

In the present, the feeling miss

These memories, a sweet notion

These memories in gap motion

Amid them ruptures and graves

Amid the other, loves and braves

What’s in the name of love? It wills

Because of the name of love, it ills

So in retrospect, it fills me

So in prospect, a gifts’ fee

Perplex it sounds, it cares not frown

Perplex you go round, it scares the town

Something along the highway, it bounds

Something in the way, it sounds.
