Unfazed

We are no longer an object,
destined to traverse this Earth;
we once did a marathons' reject
succumbing to our tiring meal.

We were controversial, yes!
never antisocial, always happy,
at a time sappy and feeling jovial
embracing the warmth we both feel.

the exclusivity we both share
