A Question For Time

Of this I ask at Time;
if life once held me bitter,
would I ever taste it, sweeter
than any sugary coatings,
than any of its wrongdoings?
Will the pain from the inside,
gradually decrease, they subside
and be replaced by these,
a reason why I should not cease.
