An Intriguing Dream

Tuesday the fifth;
I cried myself to sleep,
my heart and mind and soul
they sunk down deep,
and there I left feeling, dirtier than filth.

This tear or two, of which I cried,
I pled, please stop. No more;
these insights I have once imagined,
never to face them all at once I implore
as a smile on my face I but tried.
