Double Standards

The infringing affability

And sporadic animosity,

Perplexed I end up becoming

“Insignificant!” this thought,

Frivolous, trifling and trivial now

As you draw your attentions towards.

Incensed of such peculiar conduct

I turn down your request abrupt

To shield you from repugnance,

Safe guard your emotions.

Such charade of a game

I submit to as very lame

Duplicity of the manners

My disgust it gathers.

And thus –

My manifestation only mine

And it need not be thine.
